For several years now, Yearbook Memories has proudly been Glion’s yearbook printer, offering a fully personalized, all-in-one service. A wonderful tradition has developed over time with this school, whose elegance and respect for tradition are at the heart of its identity.
An internationally renowned school
Students from all over the world come to Glion Institute of Higher Education each year to study hospitality management. As in any school, bonds are formed and lifelong friendships are created. The Glion alumni network, now counting around 11,000 graduates, continues to grow every year and is considered by the school to be “one of the largest and most active alumni associations in the international hospitality industry.”
The Yearbook tradition
For several years, the Glion Institute of Higher Education has relied on our services to create a yearbook dedicated entirely to its students. Known in Switzerland as the “album de finissants”, the yearbook is a unique way to preserve memories of all the students who attended the school in a given year. The school even decided to produce the yearbook in English to reflect its multicultural spirit.
The first lesson Glion students learn is that “the guest experience comes first.” At Yearbook Memories, we share the same philosophy — the customer is always king! That’s why we don’t just print yearbooks; we offer a full all-in service. Our goal is to guide students through their project, especially if they aren’t sure how to create a yearbook. Depending on the request, we can handle everything from A to Z.

For Glion, we even sent a professional photographer on-site to take traditional class photos and suggest fun, creative shots. The photographer also took individual portraits of each student to ensure consistent quality and aesthetic throughout the yearbook.

In addition to photography, we also offer our graphic designer’s services. We can take care of the entire layout and design of the memory book using the students’ photos and information, and even create a custom logo.
Reflecting the prestige of a school like Glion, the yearbook’s finish must be elegant and refined. That’s why the school chose a faux leather cover to bind the pages. Like genuine leather, faux leather gives the yearbook a luxurious and timeless look — while remaining eco-friendly.
Student life captured in a keepsake
More than just a book or photo album, a yearbook is a personalized keepsake that collects the best school memories through photos and text. At Glion, there’s no shortage of moments to capture… Each semester, the different campuses host a wide range of events and activities, from cultural or themed parties and sports competitions to trips across European cities — and much more. These experiences are captured in various photo layouts and included in the yearbook.
And of course, there’s the classic student roster! Page after page, student portraits appear, showcasing dozens of nationalities side by side. The student pages feature portraits, personal yearbook quotes, and answers to questions like “Where do you see yourself in 10 years?”. Either way, the yearbook will still be there in 10 years, bringing back all these great memories!
